Joshua Peterson
Josh is a local product having played his high school baseball for Carmel High School. With a tremendous love for baseball and teaching Josh has put in an extensive amount of time and effort in studying the art and science of hitting since beginning his coaching career at Carmel Catholic High School in the summer of 2006. He spent the next 4 regular seasons at Carmel Catholic coaching the sophomores. In that time his teams averaged 20 wins a season. Over those 4 seasons he had the opportunity to coach over 20 players that went on to play at the college level. After leaving Carmel he spent the next two seasons at Grayslake North High School. While at North Josh was able work extensively with the outfielders from each level as well as continuing to develop the base running ideals. Josh currently coaches the Sophomore level at Grayslake Central and am excited to bring my energy, knowledge, and passion to Rams Baseball.
Coach Peterson will be working with hitters of all ages at our Libertyville facility on Wednesday’s and Sunday’s.
