The two
owners Lake Forest resident John Stutz (former St. Louis Cardinal),
and Highland Park resident Peter Dallas (former Northern Leaguer)
saw a need for quality baseball and softball instruction for
kids of all ages and abilities, not only the elite players.
Both Peter and John over see the day to day operations and
teach a full schedule of lessons.
In March of 2000 the first North Shore Baseball Academy opened
their doors in Highland Park, IL. Since day one the academy
was known for the high quality of instructors on staff. Most
of the instructors at the academy played professional baseball
and every instructor has a passion for teaching kids.
By June
of 2002, North Shore Baseball Academy doubled the size of the
Highland Park location to 7,000 square feet due to the demand
for their one-on-one lessons. And in 2006, to better serve
our clients they opened a second 6,000 square foot location
in Libertyville, IL. The North Shore Baseball Academy is dedicated
to providing the best in baseball and softball instruction.
