About North Shore Baseball Academy

owners

The two owners, Lake Forest resident John Stutz (former St. Louis Cardinal), and Highland Park resident Peter Dallas (former Northern Leaguer), saw a need for quality baseball and softball instruction for kids of all ages and abilities, not only the elite players. Both Peter and John oversee the day-to-day operations and teach a full schedule of lessons.

In March of 2000, the first North Shore Baseball Academy(NSBA) opened its doors in Highland Park, IL.  Since day one, the academy was known for the high quality of instructors on staff.  Most of the instructors at the academy played professional baseball and every instructor has a passion for teaching kids.

By June of 2002, NSBA doubled the size of the Highland Park location to 7,000 square feet due to the increased demand for their one-on-one lessons.  To better serve clients in the surrounding areas, they opened a second, 6,000 square foot location in Libertyville in 2006.

NSBA has experienced large growth over the years, and changes have been made to accommodate the expanding client base.  In February 2013, they left their Libertyville facility to  move to a new 13,000 square foot facility in Vernon Hills. In December of 2013, they made the decision to expand their Highland Park location even more so, moving into a new 11,876 square foot facility right down the street from the old academy.

The North Shore Baseball Academy is dedicated to providing the best in baseball and softball instruction.
